Reggae is one of the many song genres in existence. It began from the country of Jamaica and was first heard from artists such as Bob Marley and Jimmy. These can be said to be the pioneers of popular music. However, over the years, more upcoming artists have come into play and recorded more of this genre. This article discusses some of the top peoples in reggae fusion.

Takana Zion is an artist from Guinea. He started his music career at a very young age. He mainly spoke about inequality in both his country and all around the world. He also did a bit of dance hall music, but his roots were more rooted on the reggae side. He is committed to promoting African popular music and started his own studio in 2012.

The next artist is a woman and is of a Swahili origin. Her name is Etana. It translates to the strong one which actually pairs greatly with her character. She uses jazz, soul, RnB, popular music, and folk. She returned to Jamaica in the effort to create a sound that put across Rastafarian principles and respect for women in general. She uses all these genres to spread positive messages.

Tarrus Riley is a living legend. He is the son of another legendary musician known as Jimmy Riley. Tarrus was born in 1979 in the Bronx. Like many other artists, he started his career in his teenage years. In 2004, he released an album entitled challenges. This was actually his break through, and after that point in time, he has been performing in high profile concerts.

The famous chronicles are the father of the now famous chronic. His actual name is Jamar Ronaldo Mcnaughton. He was born in the year 1992. He started his singing career while he was still in his teenage years. After a while, he was called to record tracks for other popular artists such as Konshens and even Munga honorable.

Jah9 is a lady born in the town of Falmouth. She is the daughter of a Baptist preacher. She moved to Kingston and took part in the youth choir and other singing opportunities. At the university, she interacted with Rastafarians, and she was deep-rooted to reggae. Her music career began when her recordings were heard by Beres Hammond earlier recorded by Sheldon Bernard.
