Tales Of Flying High Soaring Above Tragedies Of Life

By Amanda Price

It is great to have as many coping mechanisms as possible. That way, you won't have to just rely on one or two. It seems clear that the people who are flying high soaring above tragedies of life are those who have the most coping mechanism at their disposal, and they will use certain ones for specific situations as they see fit, so both knowing what the techniques are, being skilled at using it, and then being able to properly apply it to an appropriate situation are all necessary skills to be able to let the bad things go and step into the light.

If there is anything that you can do to slow yourself down when you feel like you might react out of anger or by spiraling into a pit of depression, this can help you. The way that many people are able to accomplish this is simply by taking a deep breath. That way, you don't even have to worry about reacting right away, and rather, you are doing and focusing on something that your body has known how to do naturally since before you were born, instead of trying to figure out your complex emotions that won't be helped by whatever outburst you're about to go into.

When you have a lot of close friends, it makes it easy to share your feelings with someone else. Those who aren't so lucky might have a hard time finding someone to talk to. This is why friends are so important.

Many people are thinking more and more about their spirituality these days. This is only natural since we live in very troubling times. Faith and spirituality are something the only things that keep people going through a tragedy.

Meditating might be a good idea for you. If you feel like you can't keep calm, this is a perfect thing to practice. It might take time, but it's very rewarding.

Reading inspiring literature is great for someone trying to rise above their problems. You can find many books and movies like this. These are things you can watch again and again, and it can be very nice to have something like this you know will comfort you.

You might give yourself a certain mantra that picks you up or keeps you going. This could be something like, "It will all be okay." Whatever it takes to remind yourself that one day, you'll be happy again.

If you don't love yourself, you'd better start figuring out how to do so, and the sooner the better. It's impossible to heal without taking this first step. It may be hard, but you'll get it in time.
