Supernatural Thriller Books Are Fun

By Michael Schmidt

The world is a very large and strange place filled with mystery and suspense. There are so many supernatural thriller books on the market which will make any living human being think about their future and the events that may or may not happen in the near future. These novels will always peak a persons interest since they were made to delight and scare.

The Omen, The Exorcist, and Poltergeist are three of the scariest novels that anyone can read. Writer David Seltzer really gave people a good scare when he created the character of Damien Thorne who was an innocent child with very bad thoughts. This is one book that people cannot put down as the read the story of a little boy who was adopted into a very wealthy family as an infant.

This child seemed like the perfect son to a couple who had recently lost their baby. During Damiens birthday party it is revealed that his presence brings nothing but destruction. While his party is in full swing his faithful nanny hangs herself upstairs within a bedroom.

The nanny felt very little pain when her body slammed through a closed window since she was doing this deed for her little darling Damien. After this was over his parents wondered about the young woman and thought that she may have been on drugs because of the event. They had no idea that drugs did not play a part within her decision.

Life in the mansion goes on as usual since a new nanny has come to replace the now deceased young woman. This new woman seems to be very interested in Damien and she ensures the family that he will always be well protected. They consent to having this woman around even though it may later spell doom for the wife.

As time went on this family faced more heartache day after day. Damiens new mother is murdered while resting within her hospital room and his baby sibling is also murdered. A tall English photographer who was too involved with the Thorne family loses his head and eventually the father is executed by the police.

Fans all over the globe will agree that The Exorcist is far more frightening than The Omen. This is another novel which deals with Satan and all of his demons who visit this world. While her mother is away doing acting work young Reagan stays home all day and plays with her very dangerous Ouija board. There is a spirit connected to the house and he has found his way to make it to this very troubling game. Reagan is experiencing weird things going on within her room at night since the bed is now shaking and objects are flying off the shelves.

Unexplained deaths begin to happen and the house is now suddenly cold for no real reason. Reagan begins to speak in different languages and she is now showing signs of severe mental illness. At this point the mother can only rely on two priests who are allowed to perform an exorcism on this tormented young child. Things go very wrong during this ancient ritual and both men are killed by the demon who is now lurking within this house.
